As American Soldiers, we swear an oath to protect and defend our Constitution which is a trait unique to the United States. Over the span of my short thirteen years in the Army, I've been fortunate to be a part of a team that continues to evolve, adapt and advance in the ways it carries out its mission of protecting and preserving the Nation. Whether it was training foreign soldiers so that they are capable of defending their own countries, being responsible for analysis that helped shape the efforts of operations overseas, or caring for families during extended periods of separation from their Soldiers, I can truly say that I am proud to be a Soldier.
