You remember days and moments associated with some, and others feel like a blur in hindsight and if it weren’t for the photos, you probably wouldn’t remember it at all. This, as well as a few others from this day, are definitely the former. A day full of spitting rain and drizzle that lasted what felt like every moment of the day. Using my body to try to shield my beloved Pentax 67 from getting assaulted by the light rain as it fell. This portrait is probably one of my favorites. I may have posted it before. I honestly don’t know. But I love the light, the textures, the tonality of it all. For a good while, I definitely shied away from posting portraits not on a simple black/white/seamless backdrop.
