When I speak to residents of the Lowcountry, the most common issue they bring up is the crushing cost of #healthcare and #prescriptiondrugs. During my first term, I have helped pass eight pieces of legislation out of the House that lower these costs and protect everyone's access to the care they need. I helped pass the Lower Drug Costs Now Act which would stop drug companies from ripping off Americans, expand access to lower drug prices, and give #Medicare the ability to negotiate drug prices with drug companies.
