Happy President's Day! There have been a lot of unusual pets to live at the White House over the years, but none of them have a story quite like Rebecca the Raccoon. She came to the White House in 1926 to be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner by then President Calvin Coolidge and his family. Fortunately, the president's family feel in love with Rebecca and decided to keep her as a pet! She attended White House events and even had her own treehouse on the property!
