One way to tell a crocodile apart from an alligator is by looking at their toothy grins. A crocodile’s mouth is long and wavy and check out the protruding fourth tooth on its bottom jaw! An alligator’s upper jaw is larger than the bottom – so its bottom teeth are generally covered when its mouth is closed. Also worth noting, crocodiles have narrower more “V” shaped mouths while alligators have a wider snout which makes more of a “U” shape. . . . . . . . . . . . #crocodile #alligator #SteveIrwin #WalkofFame #Wildfacts #animalsofinstagram #animalplanet
