Our 16th day of exceptional students, staff and alumni continues with Christina Swoope (BS '11). From 2007-2009, she had the great distinction of being the #FIRST African American female drum major for our Redcoats Marching Band in its' 107 year history. To top that, she made history again with Darryl Tricksey (BSEH '10) when they were crowned the FIRST Black Homecoming Queen and King pair in 2009! (We are happy that Mary Frances Early was on hand to witness that in person) Christina didn't stop there with accomplishing great things.
