I happened to find this paper today. It’s my campaign speech for from 3rd grade! I was 8 years old when I wrote & presented this speech in front of my school. And, in case you’re wondering, I won the election. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of holding office two more times, including this year as 7th grade President. I had forgotten all about this speech, and it warms my heart to know that #kindness & #books have always been important to me.
