Brooke Fazio getting in prerace strides...She will run the 2018 usatf Junior (U20) National Championships 800M today in Bloomington, IN (6/15). - Fazio has had a stellar rookie campaign. The Basking Ridge, N.J. native ran the top freshman marks in the Atlantic 10 in the 400m (55.88) and 800m (2:11.19) during the regular season. She lowered her times to 55.51 and 2:07.79 at the ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Her third place finish at the ECAC Championships in the 800m (2:07.79) also qualified her to the NCAA East Preliminary Championships, where she was one of only two Atlantic 10 freshman competing in the meet. - Fazio was also part of the gold medal winning 4x800m relay team at both the 2018 Atlantic 10 indoor and outdoor championships. She also finished inside the top-10 in the 400m race and was a part of the fifth-place 4x400m relay team at the A-10 Outdoor Championship.
