altea, spain // 2024 Pentax 67II // 105 2.4 // Portra 400 // process and scan by indiefilmlab Well, fresh film won out over a portrait post, so, my first scans in almost two years. It was also the first time I put a concerted effort into taking photos on film in almost as long. I genuinely can’t recall the last time I ran ten rolls of film in one go. Probably when I covered an entire Warped Tour date in Dallas on film, or when I did similar at sowhatmusicfest. Anyhow, I reckon a portrait post probably won’t be far behind this one…hopefully I haven’t lost you yet. I spent the first week of 2024 in Europe for the first time in eight or nine years. It was my first time to Spain, and my first time probably ever experiencing a town quite as historic as Altea. I wandered the streets and alley ways with friends, stumbling into little art shops and restaurants, trying new foods, and just trying to experience a new place as best I could.
