I remember how stoked Jordan was when she heard that Bikini Kill was getting back together to play a few shows. Possibly the most stoked for the *possibility* of getting tickets to see them play out here in LA. And then on the day they went on sale, she never even had a chance to buy non-resale tickets and the scalpers prices were, well, astronomical. To say she was bummed was an understatement. But then the Riot Fest lineup came out and listed as a headliner we’re Bikini Kill and the stoke was back. Jordan has already bought us tickets months before the lineup was released and it definitely paid off. The absolute highlight of my weekend was getting to see how fucking stoked Jordan was the moment they started playing Rebel Girl.
