jac // geelong, victoria // november 2016 Leica M4-P // 50mm Summicron // Kodak Tri-X // @indiefilmlab After a long while of using my Leica on trips and to document personal work - I feel like I am finally starting to get comfortable with it and don't hesitate to use it in quick moving situations as much as I did when I first picked it up almost two years ago now. It has slowly become one of my favorite cameras. You truly can't overvalue the quality of the images it helps to make, or the size that I still feel makes you somehow less noticeable. Sure, it doesn't focus as close as an SLR, and doesn't have the bokeh of the Pentax, but it does so much that neither of those manage to do. This frame from Jamie and Jac's wedding last fall is one of my most recent favorites from the Leica and shooting it at their wedding has given me so much more confidence to continue using it. This, a few rolls of Tri-X, and it's pretty much a dream. And yeah, every now and again i venture away from music...
