It feels like it's been a little while since I shot some new portraits, so I'm stoked to have just gotten back the first of three orders that consist almost entirely of portraits back from Indie Film Lab yesterday.
This is Dave - we met up before Parkway Drive's show here in Dallas and chatted about photography, film, thrift store camera finds, a bit about medium format, and eventually some portrait stuff. Then we went and gaffes up some seamless and made a few portraits back behind gas monkey. Very stoked with how the whole series turned out, including some portraits of some of the Parkway crew, but thought I'd show this one first.
I feel like I say this every time I post a photo shot on Portra 400, but this film stock really has become a favorite. So versatile, clean skin tones, great contrast, easy to shoot and control. It also helps that Indie scans it in a way that gives me a decent amount...
