So here it is, almost a year later after photographing the PVRIS, Issues, and Bring Me the Horizon tour for @highlightzine at @southsideballroom. Shooting drummers from the photo pit can be…tricky. There aren't many angles that work well, and it takes immense patience to wait for just the right moment. So when I lucked into this shooting over to stage left after wrapping up my first three songs in the photo pit, I made the most of having a short telephoto in my bag. I also made the most of some dumb luck. I had absolutely no idea the cryo blast was about to go, but when it did, I made the most of it and actually wound up liking the frames from the end of te blast when solid particles were floating through the lift, almost looking like snow. #mattnicholls #bringmethehorizon #bmth #dallas #texas #inst...
