This may be one of my favorite dang photos from that tour and one that, for whatever reason, I've consistently forgotten to post up. We had just wrapped up a solid lunch of vegan deliciousness at Spiral Diner and were waiting on checks and some desserts. Love both of these dudes, which definitely contributes to my emotions about the photo, but there's absolutely more to it than that. It's just one of those images that seems to perfectly encapsulate so much of touring, I think at least. Gear wise, I'm pumped I had the EOS-3 on this run but definitely wish I had my Leica then for little bits like this. Plus the kit is just so much smaller, especially with the 3 having a battery grip and big L glass. But hey, it helped make a photo I'm very stoked on, and maybe I don't react quick enough with the Leica, or I frame it differently. Best to...
