spencer chamberlain // underoath // so what?! music fest '16 5D3 // 135L // VSCOFilm I took a look back at some of the photographs I took of UnderOath those years ago, at Warped and the Palladium Ballroom (now the Southside Ballroom) and it is so crazy to see not only how awful some of the gear I was using at the time was (30D vs a 5Dmk3…not much of a contest), but more so how much my work and approach has changed. Not only that, it reminded me that when I did get to photograph UO at Warped, my 30D I had brought to use that year actually died at about 2PM, leaving me with 4-5 rolls of black and white, 35mm film to use over the rest of the day photographing heaps of other bands. Essentially, I had to ration fewer than 20 frames per band I wanted to shoot the rest of the day. Hectic. But glad I had the old film EOS1N with me that day. Anyhow, this is from So What?!
