Sometimes the frame you are most stoked on doesn't get an absolutely perfect exposure. More often than not, it's something I can't really cope with and I scrap the image, but every now and then, the frame is made kind of cooler by the less than "perfect" exposure. This is one of them.
I got to see Saosin on back to back nights, first in Dallas out Southside ballroom, then at a sold out show at Emo's in Austin thanks to my friend
@johncropper. I had just began shooting with my Leica and knew I wanted to give it a shot at these shows since prior to this, one of my all time favorite frames I made was of Beau from Saosin shot on a film camera with not business in a photo pit. So I gave it a go, some images worked, some were mistimed, some were a bit dark and timed well. Funny how that works. Still, this is a favorite from that weekend of shows.
