anthony green // circa survive // sbsw 15 It really is so cool to think that the first time I saw this band perform, Juturna had pretty recently been released, they were touring with another band that became one of my all time favorites, The Receiving End of Sirens, playing at The Door in Dallas (prior to their move to the space previously occupied by Gypsy) to a sell out crowd. I had weaseled my way up to the first row of the standing room only crowd, center stage, and was in awe for a solid 60 minutes. This band's live show is enthralling. Magnetic. It just keeps pulling you in, wanting you to experience every emotion, the swings and sways of the crowd. It can be exhausting, but in the best way. It's one of those shows that you leave covered in sweat, bruised, and with little voice left to discuss the show on the drive home.
