I guess I've been taking some time away from actively participating in social media. But since it is National Dog Day, I thought I'd break up the black and white, band heavy photos that have been in my feed predominantly the last few months with some of our pup. So here's Lola, keeper of the bed. Seriously - every day I come home she's curled up, under the covers just hanging out waiting for Jordan and me to get home. She's the best little dog I think we could have asked for and I'm so happy we were able to adopt her from the All Texas Dachshund Rescue after she was abandoned in the Bastrop wild fires in 2011. But she's here with us now, and is the best companion for us, especially when Jordan or I are out of town leaving the other home alone. It isn't nearly as lonely with this little fur ball around.
