This last season wasn't exactly what we walked into the AAC expecting after the franchise's first playoff berth in years and the big summer acquisitions of Jason Spezza and Ales Hemsky. I wish I could be preparing to watch the boys in green take their first western conference title in over a decade this weekend, but instead I get to just enjoy some hockey, no horse in the race (sort of), and watch the sport I love so much.
