anthony green // circa survive pentax 67II // portra800 // processed and scanned by Indie Film Lab (@indiefilmlab) I was beyond stoked when I got to make this portrait of Anthony this spring at South by So What. He's someone who's work I've always followed and really enjoyed and to find out how kind he is was such a good feeling. Even though it was raining, he was quick to say yes when I asked for a portrait and was patient enough to wait while I loaded film into my Pentax, even doing his best to shield my camera and film from the rain while I loaded it. Going from being that 16 year old kid, pressed against the stage at The Door, drenched in sweat, seeing Circa for the first time, to seeing them for the 6th or 7th, finally photographing their set, and getting to capture some quick portraits.
