It was a tiny room where I had also seen Straylight Run years before. I wasn't too sure what to expect from Balance and Composure but had heard nothing but great things from all of my friends and was stoked to finally see them live. They won a fan that night. There's something special about seeing a band like that just kill it in front of 150-200 kids, stage dives all night, and so much intensity as the energy seemed to crest higher and higher as the night went on. Move to SBSW this year, seeing them play to a couple thousand kids all singing along after waiting outside all day in the rain, that's fucking awesome.
