anthony green // circa survive // sbsw8 Figured it was only appropriate to share this image today, with It being the 10 year anniversary of Juturna (dang), and the band playing Coachella today. This photo is from Circa's amazing set at South by So What 8, one of four or five times I've had the opportunity to see them play, and the first time I was able to shoot. The first time I was able to see them, I was in high school and saw them at The Door at its old location at Elm and Hall before they moved into the old Gypsy space. It was one of very few shows where I found myself pressed up against the stage with not intent to photograph anything, just to be there, be present in the moment, and enjoy the music. I'm so happy for that. Not being concerned about showing everyone where I am/was, and just being there. Circa was headlining with The Receiving End of Sirens as support.
