It's incredible to me to see bands like Architects again when the first time I saw them play, they were on a tour with Gwen Stacy, then a year or so later as support for a huge tour with The Acacia Strain. This band has gotten better and better every time I've seen them. They perform with relentless energy and today they won an award for best album. Major props to them on a solid record! I nabbed this portrait of Sam the same afternoon I shot Jason of letlive. before their co-headlining show at The Door in Dallas. Still experimenting with 400H, but I'm definitely impressed with how well it handles overexposure/highlights and still renders such amazing tonality and colors. From a technical perspective, it's great, although I need to work on getting my Kodak workflow where I want it.
