I had taken a portrait of Jason a few months ago just before letlive.'s set at south by so what on my 645 that turned out to have some serious, serious focusing issues, so when I got the negatives back and every photo was ever so slightly out of focus, I was beyond heart broken. The original portrait and easily more than a dozen others were lost, some were debatably useable (like the previous portrait of Jason), while others looked like I had never focused a camera manually before. When I saw letlive. would be coming through Dallas with Architects, I decided to give it another go, this time with my new (and tested) Pentax. So stoked I did. But while I was doing these quick, off the cuff, lingering by the venue portraits, I decided it would be a good idea to shoot a film stock I hadn't touched in years and expose it in a way I had never tested.
