jake luhrs (@jakeluhrsabr) - @abrband I touched on this in my portrait of Jake, but August Burns Red was essentially the band that got me into heavy music. I went to go see them play at The Door in Dallas with Haste the Day, and I think Destroy the Runner. I was blown away by these guys, plain and simple. I loved every minute of the show, and continue to love to see this band live. I had the chance to shoot them live once previously at The Door's current location while they were touring with Between the Buried and Me (I think this is also the show where I was able to grab my first portrait of Andy Williams), but this blew it out of the water.
