Happy Friday from.. New Orleans 🤗 I’m so so so excited to be spending the week in visitneworleans — my favorite city. By far. It’s French Quarter Fest this weekend and the city is as vibrant and amazing as ever. Truly perfect. I have so much to say about this trip, this city, and what it all means to me. I visited New Orleans for the first time after Hurricane Katrina to volunteer over Christmas with my family. My second trip was later that year over spring break in college. That was my first real solo trip. First time flying alone, renting a car (with my dad co-signing or something because of my age 😂), first time staying in a hostel and exploring/volunteering for days — all alone. I really had no plan I just knew this was a place that felt important to me. And that I wanted it to continue to be important to me. And it was. And it is. It really is.
