I spent the most beautiful morning kayaking with discover_sc last weekend. I looked for alligators that the ranger said “are just the type you would think were cute” 🤔 but mostly just looked at this tree.⁣ ⁣ The trees in the south have a soul. I can literally feel them when I’m looking up. They have seen things. They’ve survived. ⁣ ⁣ I always think about the phrase — the highest trees endure the harshest winds. Their leaves may sway, but they’re still standing. Still rooted. Still there. ⁣ ⁣ No matter what’s happened or what is to come this week remember you are like these trees. Tall and mighty. Rooted.
