I don’t have a lot of photos of me smiling this way. Pure, authentic and unbridled joy. Sure, I’m happy in my photos — I’m in the most beautiful places in the country — but it’s a quiet smile. I’m usually alone, so my feelings are more inward.⁣ ⁣ While I enjoy going solo, I don’t want to make anyone feel that’s it’s the only or best way. On this day I was with my beautiful friend caroline.cutshall.photo , enjoying some celebratory Bees Knees cocktails, and spending most of our time laughing. ⁣ ⁣ Solo trips are great, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop traveling in that way, but community is key.
