July 2018:⁣ ⁣ This summer was busy, they always are. The day after work ended for the year I left for a weeklong trip through the southwest. Immediately after that I taught summer school. Then I visited family and from there headed north to Isle Royale and Voyageurs National Parks. Came back and immediately started (and finished 🧘🏻‍♀️) a 200 hour yoga teacher training — stopping only one day to move to a new apartment in a new city 😳. I’m lucky to have the summer to do these things, but it was a lot.⁣ ⁣ I spent a day after yoga teacher training relaxing in my new place, then set off for a road trip before I had to be back at work. I drove hours through the northwest until I got to my first stop — North Cascades National Park. This is the one place I knew I had to get to before the summer was over, and it didn’t disappoint.⁣ ⁣ But the best memory I have is this moment. This evening.
