The next Tuesday I’ll be at work is three weeks from now 🤗. In the new year. Hopefully with some new dresses. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been looking through my planner a lot this month, and the back pages where I wrote out my intentions for the year. I made a list of “what I am saying yes to” and “what I am saying no to” in 2018. It’s interesting to see where I have succeeded and failed within the lists. My yes column is a lot of “new” — I want to say yes to new experiences, new places, new people, new opportunities. And the no is to a lot of the opposite. No to the things that don’t serve me. Seeking approval. The things that don’t spark joy. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve stayed true to a lot of what I set out to do. But I felt some disappointment at the things I haven’t stood as firm on. Then I remembered — it’s still 2018. I can still say no or yes to these things. It’s not over.
