Did you know today was National Candy Corn Day? I actually (believe it or not) didn’t know until I got to work. You see, I write a daily celebration on the board every day next to the date when I get here. And today just happened to be perfectly timed.⁣ ⁣ I know there are mixed feelings about all these National Days (“says who?” some kid always inevitably asks). But I love them. I love to celebrate. If you’ve followed me long I’m sure you’re aware. I mean, celebrating is fun 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ And it’s not just random National Days — I celebrate everything. The small stuff. Small wins. Because those small wins add up. And if I train myself to celebrate the small successes I reinforce success. If I never celebrate my accomplishments the opposite is true — I’m just reinforcing that the things I’m doing aren’t all that important or exciting.
