Happy Tuesday! Aka #jessdaytuesday -- a day where I wear whimsical dresses like this one covered in math equations (thanks modcloth) ⁣ ⁣ Because did you know I am a middle school math teacher? :) It may seem like I am constantly traveling, but in fact I do have a job. A job where I hang out with 12 year olds all day. But still, like any job, it can get monotonous. So I try to add in a little flair. ⁣ ⁣ I told someone the other day that whimsy was one of my core values, and they laughed. I'm serious, I said. Whimsy is literally defined as fanciful. Overly imaginative. Unrealistic. Odd, even. And those are all things I want to be. ⁣ ⁣ Because why so serious. Life isn't all about summiting mountains and personal reflection. It is about those things, but it's also about fun. Joy. Whimsy. If I don't have those what do I have? ⁣ ⁣ What do you do to bring joy or whimsy into your day?
