I read a comment section on a local news story recently (first mistake, I know) and couldn't get over how many comments were some version of "no one cares about ______ anymore" or "there is no humanity left in this world" I had to bite my tongue and sit on my hands to stop myself from replying, "hey, isn't the fact that you are commenting this on this story proof that at least you care about ______ anymore? And hey that's one person 🤷🏻‍♀️" . We see things as we are. If we are negative, judgmental and unkind then that is what we will see. If I think there is no humanity left in this world it's easy to ignore all of the good -- even in myself. .
