The Federation of Italian Baseball and Softball (FIBS) kicked off its 2022 Mission Classic on November 8th in Rome. The purpose of the trip was to bring team Italy players and coaches from the 2023 World Baseball Classic roster together to bond on Italian soil to inspire them about their roots and heritage in advance of the games, next spring. There were several current major league and minor league players and coaches on the trip. The Italian American Baseball Foundation was along for the ride and iabf_official board trustee Chris R.
