salisburyuniversity hosts the virtual panel discussion “Dialogue on Race and Its Impact on People of Color” 5 p.m. Thursday, June 4. Led by Joan Williams, SU associate vice president for diversity and inclusion, and chief diversity officer, the event aims to provide space for healing, understanding and awareness.
Panelists provide insights into recent events, the nation’s current climate, how it came to be and possible paths forward. They include Drs. Rebecca Anthony, assistant professor of social work; Julia Glanz, acting mayor of Salisbury; Aston Gonzalez, assistant professor of history; James King, associate professor of English; Lillian Odera, director of the SU Counseling Center; Richard Potter, Multicultural Student Services program coordinator; and Erin Stutelberg, assistant professor of secondary education.
