Happy #SpringSeniorDay to salisbury_xctf senior sprinter/hurdler, Marco Ramirez! Marco is an Exercise Science / Allied Health major with a minor in Psychology from Rockville, Md. Following graduation Marco plans to attend physical therapy graduate school within the next year or two. As a four-year member of the track & field team Marco has competed as a sprinter and hurdler, racing in events such as the 60, 200, and 400-meter dashes, as well as the 60, 110, and 400 hurdles. On one of his favorite memories as a Salisbury student-athlete: "I tripped over the final hurdle of a race and landed right onto the blue University of Delaware track. I had blue paint from the track rubbed off on my chest and chin. I can't help but laugh about it because my teammates told me they were talking about how it'd be funny if someone tripped over a hurdle.
