I never made a post about how I got the idea of starting my own blog. Growing up I was the definition of an American Born Confused Desi- and I felt this disconnect to my culture. I’ve never been to India (aka the motherland) and even though I was born in the U.S. it never really felt like home. Today I feel so blessed to be able to embrace being an Indian American, and I’ll be going to India soon 💕 I’m so grateful to come from such a rich culture and I’m glad I get to feature amazing south Asian women/men!
