“I knew NYRR was going to be our community and the best way to get to know this beautiful city.” 🏙🏃🏻 Meet NYRR member Ana Gonzalez (anishkagonza, pictured far left) who immigrated to New York from her home country Argentina with her husband Fabricio. Ana started running with her dad when she was a child, but it wasn’t until 2020 when she joined a trail running group in Buenos Aires that she came to love it. The group took trips to the mountains outside of the city for runs and that’s when she met Fabricio. “Eight months later we were married, starting a new life in New York running through Central Park.” In 2022, Ana ran several nyrr races including the NYRR #GretesGreatGallop and the NYRR #StatenIslandHalf to complete her 9+1 for non-complimentary, guaranteed entry to the #TCSNYCMarathon. “9+1 was the vehicle to know the five boroughs.
