“Becoming a NYC Marathon streaker is special to me, because as a Civil Engineer with NYSDOT I ensure the roads and bridges are swept and maintained (no bumps and potholes) for any major bike and wheelchair races and marathons.” NYRR member Pankaj Patel has worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for 30 years and not only helps to ensure the roads are safe for race day, but he also runs those roads himself as a 16-time New York City Marathon streaker.
