It’s #FundraisingFriday and this week we’re highlighting another amazing #TCSNYCMarathon runner who is running for a charity. Ray is running to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation to help find a cure for his son and many others. Thank you for sharing your story with us, Ray. “I am the proud father of a 8 year old boy suffering with a severe form of epilepsy (seizures) called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. This is a difficult-to-treat form of childhood onset epilepsy that causes frequent and multiple types of seizures. According to a study, only 1 in 50,000 people will be diagnosed with this type of epilepsy. There are very few effective treatments to help control the severity of my son's seizures. I have chosen to run the TCS New York City Marathon to raise awareness and to run for my son Carson. Though running a marathon is challenging, it is not nearly as challenging as the frequent seizures my son Cason struggles with. We are optimistic that one day he will be able to live a life sei...
