For inspiration, read patriciafitzgibbon1's #TCSNYCMarathon story: "When I first started running with New York Road Runners (NYRR), after finishing a race, I would look up my name and David Fitzgibbon's name, from Ireland, always came up with my race results. I always said, 'I want to one day meet him.' 50,000 ran the marathon and at mile 21 in the Bronx, my sisters were tracking and waiting for me and who runs by them, with his name proudly across his back? David Fitzgibbon! My sister teresafitz7 yelled, 'FITZGIBBON' and he stopped. He told her, due to a knee injury he wasn't doing well and didn't think he would finish. I'm proud to say, he's a tough Fitzgibbon! He finished in under 5 hours."
