August has arrived, which means the Great Boulder Duck Race is just a few short weeks away! We are SO excited to be hosting this year’s event IN-PERSON from 1-3pm on August 29th at the Scott Carpenter Pool Lazy River. Please join us for a day of fun in the sun, filled with activities, water polo and synchronized swimming demonstrations, a sweetcowicecream ice cream truck, prizes, and more! To become eligible for the fantastic prizes we’ll have up for grabs on race day, please consider adopting a duck for $11. Proceeds raised from the event will go towards creating equitable access to recreation spaces and programming for low-income families and people with disabilities in the Boulder community. Click the link in our bio to adopt a duck today! Please note that Scott Carpenter Pool will not be open to the public for swimming on Race Day. To run a safe and fun event, we will be following current Boulder County policies surrounding masks and distancing for outdoor events. #greatboulderdu...
