“The parks are a poem in our city.” Recently, community member Adriana Paola Palacios Luna shared why she and her family love our Boulder parks. “I like the parks because they are a nice place and I can enjoy going on walks with my sons and daughter, they can play a little, feel the tickle of grass on our feet, have a picnic, or just sit in the shade under a tree and read a book,” Luna said. “Sometimes we do yoga, play soccer, tell stories, laugh, and just enjoy ourselves.”
PLAY Boulder is proud to support the maintenance and betterment of our parks as the non-profit partner of Boulder Parks and Rec. One way we support our communal recreation spaces is through the Great Boulder Duck Race! Adopting a duck for $11 helps to raise critical funds in support of equitable access to public spaces and recreation. To learn more or adopt a duck, please click the link in our bio!
