Thank you alum BrianWurme, ‘06, Associate Director of Learning & Development at Loews Hotels at UniversalOrlando. Brian recently donated 114 pounds of food to help us build back the supplies in the Knights Helping Knights Pineapple Pantry here at UCF Rosen College. Here’s Brian’s WHY behind his generous gift: “Spring of 2003 was my first semester at the Rosen College. When I moved here from New York, my only possessions were what I had in my car. It was my dream to attend the Rosen College, and it was very exciting at that time, as there were less than 500 students. Every student was new and supported each other, just like the Hospitality industry. One night in my first semester, I went through a drive-thru for dinner, and overdraft my account as I didn’t have $5 to my name. When I would go to work, I always wanted to take my break early as I depended on the free cafeteria to provide me, in most cases, my main meal of the day.
