Our next uofmemphis School of Health Studies 2020 Outstanding Alumni Award goes to Brooks Gaut - '19 Master of Science in Health Promotion.⁣ ⁣ Brooks currently works at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in the emergency department where she provides psychosocial support to children and their families to promote coping and normalization of the hospital environment.⁣ ⁣ In reference to her time at the UofM, Brooks stated, “I was continuously blown away at how genuinely invested the professors were at seeing me succeed.
