I was stoked to be complete the total Rio Agua Azul with Rafa, Sam Sutton and the Sickline crew back in 2011. This turquoise river is a truly magnificent. . The travertine rock creates beautiful rolling lips, though it can also create deadly caves as was found out a couple years later when Gerd Serrasolses found himself trapped behind this very waterfall. I feel lucky to have run it successfully and glad that Gerd was ok in the end after his experience.
