New work! The Journey. . The journey through life. Life is often referenced with book terms, "turning a page" or "starting a new chapter" for instance. As you go through life, your pages fill up and your story gets written. I wanted to create a simple concept to illustrate this by having someone 'journey' through a giant book. . Few subtle things: the human is on the far left to symbolize that they are early into their journey and have a long way to go still. The wording is a quote "we have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one." Even though its cut off, I wanted to include one of my favorite quotes in the piece.
