Opening night for the Hillsboro Hops finally arrived on Friday. The fans were charged up and the Oregon Spring weather held up for a great night of baseball against the Everett AquaSox. Hops hopes for a victory were dashed when they could not capitalize on bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning resulting in a 4-5 loss on the evening.
