To prepare for the partial eclipse tomorrow, April 8, 2024, OMSI staff made sure their dinosaurs were protected outside the building with giant solar shades. If you’d like to enjoy the celestial event with others, you can head to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. The museum will host a solar eclipse viewing celebration in its front plaza. It will include a special educator talk, science activities and the opportunity to watch a live stream from cities along the eclipse’s path of totality.
