Never before recorded? Although wild dogs will hunt young or weak buffalo, to the best of our knowledge not healthy adult buffalos. This formidable pack at OldMondoro took down this cow buffalo whilst repelling several rescue attempts from the herd, right in front of our amazed guests, one of whom captured this incredible footage and kindly allowed us to post. Wild dogs are ravenous hunters and this week our guests have seen them successfully hunt baboon, warthog, impala and buffalo. With two females pregnant the future of this pack is hopefully assured for years to come.
